This year, the New Haven Transit Equity Day event is Feb. 4 at noon on the Green at the corner of Church and Chapel. Speakers will be calling for transit improvements at the local and state level. We hope to be able to take a bus ride around town.

Let's get on board for Transit Equity Day! This national day of organizing and mobilization brings together unions, transit rider organizers and climate and environmental justice groups to act as one voice around February 4, Rosa Park's birthday, and to declare transit equity as a civil right. Our unified national mobilization will be to escalate pressure on our decision makers to win fully-funded operations and service.
