Join Empower NJ and allies on Thursday, September 12 at 7 PM for a critical discussion on the major climate & energy policies currently being considered by our legislators, and how we are organizing this fall to win a just transition off fossil fuels.

Last year, EmpowerNJ partnered with leading environmental justice groups and climate allies to organize heavily around two pending bills positioned to make or break New Jersey’s clean energy future. Thanks to our consistent and growing presence in the halls of the State House and around the state, and with leadership from frontline communities across the state who are facing dangerous new fossil fuel projects, we were able to stop the dirty gas RNG bill and strengthen the Clean Energy Standard bill, critically important legislative wins for our future.

This year, we’ve seen a slew of additional bills introduced that present new threats and new opportunities to our movement for a clean energy future.

With these bills coming up in front of the legislature this Fall, the time is now to educate ourselves on the good, the bad, and the ugly of these massively consequential policy proposals – and take action to win.
