On April 17 — one day prior to its 2026 Convention and Legislative Conference at the DoubleTree Hilton in Monroe Township — AFT New Jersey will hold a mini-conference/training for new leaders who are getting ready to undergo collective bargaining in the coming year.

The session, titled “New Leaders: Preparing for Collective Bargaining,” will take place at the DoubleTree from 9 a.m. to 3:30-4 p.m., and it is limited to 25 participants.
