New Organizer Training Series

Hello friends!

Due to popular demand, we're excited to bring back our New Organizer Training Series! These three trainings are especially crafted to provide you with the basic skills needed to become a successful organizer in our chapter and other community organizing spaces.

We were unable to offer our "Building A Mass Working Class Org" in December due to one of our facilitators catching covid the day before. We are planning to start the series with this training, so those of you who attended in December may leave during the break and are not forced to repeat the other two. ***Please note in your RSVP if this is your intention, thank you***

Join us on Sunday, February 16th from 10am to 1:30pm MT for the following trainings!

  1. Building a Mass Working Class Organizations (60min @ 10:15am)
    1. The socialist movement for the future must be built. DSA is the structure we use to do this.
  2. The 1x1 — Structured Organizing Conversations (50min @ 11:30am)
    1. The most important tool in the box. The bread-and-butter of organizing.
  3. Holding Good Meetings (40min @ 12:30pm)
    1. Agendas, meeting roles & responsibilities, consensus building (democracy)

We'll have coffee & donuts for those of us who struggle with early mornings! Please feel free to invite any +1s and we hope to see you there!
