Teachers, School Support Professionals, Principals, School Board Members, Retired Teachers and Superintendent Groups Come Together to Host Statewide Town Hall Meetings to Discuss Public Education

WHO: The Louisiana Association of Educators (LAE), Louisiana Association of Principals (LAP), Louisiana Association of School Superintendents (LASS), Louisiana Federation of Teachers (LFT), Louisiana Retired Teachers Association (LRTA) and the Louisiana School Boards Association (LSBA) invite students, parents, and community members in Orleans and surrounding parishes.

WHEN: Tuesday, March 12, 2019, 5:00 P.M.

WHERE: Ben Franklin High School, 2001 Leon Simon Drive, New Orleans, LA 70122.

WHY: With important school funding decisions coming in Louisiana’s 2019 Legislative Session, Louisiana educational stakeholder organizations and their members would like to partner with local legislators and the education community to discuss school funding, teacher/school employee pay, and educator recruitment/retention.
