JOIN US on Friday, August 12 from 5-8pm at Haymarket House to kick off our new #FuelLifeNotWar campaign! After forcing the city to stop pouring tax dollars into Boeing and pushing its corporate HQ out of Chicago, we’re shifting our focus to Boeing’s new drone facility at the MidAmerica Airport in Mascoutah, IL.

Funded by a multi-billion dollar contract from the US Navy paid for by US taxpayers, and millions of dollars in IL state funds and tax credits, Boeing’s new facility will produce uncrewed, autonomous drones for use in the brutal conquests of US empire. Even with Boeing’s headquarters gone, the war profiteer is still bleeding Chicago and Illinois dry of public dollars that could be funding life-giving resources to instead build drones that will increase US surveillance and militarization worldwide.

We are demanding that Governor Pritzker and the State of Illinois revoke the funding and tax credit contract awarded to Boeing as a step towards divesting from the war industry and violent US imperialism.
