Join with other activists and organizational leaders as we deliver an important letter urging our Senator, Andy Kim, to stand in firm opposition to any Congressional efforts to bail out climate polluters from facing legal and legislative consequences for their central role in the climate crisis.  

These efforts to prevent a federal bailout of the fossil fuel industry go hand in hand with our work to make NJ the next state to pass the Climate Superfund Act, legislation that would not be possible if Congress grants the same kind of immunity to the industry that they gave to firearms manufacturers in 2005. We know that federal immunity is on the industry’s wish list and they are already lobbying to get it passed, so let’s make sure our representatives here draw a line in the sand now and say NO to any kind of liability waiver for the fossil fuel industry.
