We know that Trump’s racist threats to send troops and federal agents into our city are not about safety — they’re about control. Together, we can resist fear and prepare our communities to stand strong.

We are offering two training dates for community members to join:

• Saturday, September 6 (10 AM – 12 PM) | West Side (location will be sent to you after registering)

• Sunday, September 14 (4 – 7 PM) | South Side (location will be sent to you after registering)

These community-wide trainings are open to all Chicagoans who want to better understand their rights and the legal resources available if Trump escalates his threats. Trainers will lead the program, covering:

• Your rights when interacting with police, federal agents, or military presence.

• Risks to be aware of and how to respond safely in different scenarios.

• A high-level political education overview on how Trump’s agenda and the billionaire class are harming our communities.

• How to support your neighbors and strengthen our collective resilience.

By coming together, we prepare ourselves and one another to stay safe, protect our communities, and stand strong in the face of these threats.
