The march goes up Market to Civic Center. If you’re late or don’t want to walk that far, you can join us along the route or in Civic Center Plaza. Wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather, and bring water and sun protection.

Trump = Big Oil

While climate justice should never be a partisan issue and climate disasters impact every American regardless of their political affiliation, Trump and the far right have aligned themselves with Big Oil. We know what that means. Oil and other fossil fuels poison the air with GHGs that lead to climate chaos and natural disasters that affect everyone, in addition to gases that cause cancers and asthma. Trump made it clear that for their $500 million in campaign contributions, he would make all their dreams come true, and has delivered by:

• cancelling billions in public transit and renewable energy projects
• terminating EV mandates and incentives
• ending climate research and data
• opening up public lands to oil and gas exploration
• forcing LNG terminals through permitting processes
• pushing for the Sable pipeline in Santa Barbara that would re-open 3 offshore oil rigs

And much more. Big Oil continues to use deceit and bribes and force to rig the system to their benefit as all of us face more climate disasters.
