While ICE escalates attacks on our immigrant neighbors, as well as observers, Minnesotans must step into our shared values of courage, care, and community. We know that we care for us and we keep us safe.

Join us on Monday, January 19 for free trainings for the pro-immigrant, pro-labor, pro-democracy movement! In order to keep people safe we will share the exact address with registrants on Sunday evening. The event will be hosted in the metro Minneapolis/St Paul.

Chose between these three trainings:
12-2pm Monarca Upstander Observer Training - FULL

3-6:30pm NVDA Training

7-9pm Monarca Upstander Observer Training

NVDA:
Whether you have never joined a direct action, or you've planned one, this hands-on training is for you. Together, we will:

  • Learn what makes direct actions successful (or not successful).
  • Practice key hands-on skills for safe, fun, and effective direct actions, from de-escalation to linking arms to marshaling.
  • Connect with fellow community members who are committed to safe, joyful resistance against white supremacy, corporate greed, and authoritarianism.

Monarca Upstander Observer Training:
Every family deserves safety, dignity, and the peace of going to work or school without fear. Yet right now, enforcement and intimidation tactics are being used to divide our communities. Raids and targeted actions are tearing families apart and weakening entire neighborhoods across Minnesota. We are coming together to protect one another, build people-powered safety, and make sure no one faces this moment alone.
