This is a community-outreach event with the developer team for North Berkeley BART. The format will be informational, plus breakout sessions, and while it's not a decision-making discussion, here's our chance to influence the proposal that actually goes forward. The developer team must build enough homes to account for 90% of zoned capacity, and they cannot take a density bonus because of an agreement between the city and BART, but there's still wiggle room in how many homes they build, how many parking spaces they build, and whether they can go up to 8 stories with more greenspace or whether they have to build everything low and massive, thanks to a very vociferous NIMBY contingent fixated on the number of stories.

In short, we need to show the developers and city officials that there are more people who want more homes at North Berkeley BART!
