Come commune with friends, neighbors, and comrades as we celebrate our year building a fighting working class movement together and rest up for more in 2026.

This event is free and open to all current and future DSA members alike.

We'll be gathering at BOYFRIEND co-op, which will have holiday cocktails and light snacks available. Since opening in March as a worker-owned bar and cafe, BOYFRIEND has hosted DSA every month for meetups and parties, so please continue to patronize this important community space. As a space that centers queer women and trans/nonbinary people, BOYFRIEND is open to all but to be respectful and keep the space safe.

From each according to their ability...

We'll have a cookie swap! If you're able, bring 1-2 dozen homemade cookies and enjoy what folks have to offer. We'll have labels to list the chef, ingredients, and fun notes.

We'll also have a book swap! Bring and take a favorite lefty book (or three)! We'll have cards to also share why your name and why you liked your book so others can learn about each as they browse.

This holiday season, please consider giving to the Starbucks Workers United Strike Fund.

On November 13, over one thousand union baristas kicked off the “Red Cup Rebellion” unfair labor practice strike, protesting Starbucks’ historic union busting and failure to finalize a fair union contract. The open-ended strike comes after six months of Starbucks refusing to offer new proposals to address workers’ demands for better staffing, higher pay, and resolution for hundreds of unfair labor practice charges.

Can you show up with NYC-DSA to a shift at SBWU's picket line? Sign up here.

Accessibility: BOYFRIEND co-op is wheelchair accessible. There are 2 gender-neutral bathrooms toward the back of the bar. Face masks are welcome but not required (and please stay home if you are sick, even with a cold). There will be overhead music and chatter.
