North East Friends of Standing Together meeting
Start: Saturday, September 06, 2025•11:30 AM
End: Saturday, September 06, 2025•01:30 PM
In the past few weeks, Standing Together activists have protested at the live filming of Israeli Big Brother, glued themselves to the floor at Ben Gurion Airport, and disrupted the inauguration of the Knesset Museum.
They are refusing to allow life to go on as normal while Israel conducts a genocidal war in Gaza, and while settlers run rampant in the West Bank.
To find out more about the work of Standing Together, we are inviting you to a public meeting on Saturday 6 September, 11:30am to 1:30pm, in the Bewick Hall, Level 2, City Library, Newcastle upon Tyne.
You will hear from leaders in Standing Together and The Parents Circle – Families Forum (PCFF) and Unison. And we will have a panel discussion for you to share your comments, questions and ideas for action.
Photo Exhibition: 4 to 18 September 2025, City Library, Newcastle upon Tyne
The Presence of the Void – photos taken by members of The Parents Circle – Families Forum (PCFF), a joint Israeli-Palestinian organisation of over 800 bereaved Palestinians and Israelis members, all of whom have lost an immediate family member to the ongoing conflict. Despite their profound grief, the members have chosen a unique and courageous path: to transform their pain into a force for reconciliation, dialogue, and peace.
