The North East has been effectively abandoned in the post-industrial neoliberal age. There are few areas of the country that need a societal shift towards ecosocialism as desperately as here. For this reason we must organise as a region to ensure we are not an afterthought in Green Party national strategy, or failing that, mobilise our members and create our own strategy.
