Dear Conservationists, Environmentalists, and Climate Activists:
You are invited to the Northside Heritage Meadows Open House. The urban greening project includes a community garden, demonstration orchards, beginning farmer training fields, composting, two trails, and 450 shrubs and trees, and you can come and go as you please. Check out what this project looks like and bring ideas for future projects.
The Heritage Meadows Open House is the main event, but there are a couple other events connected to the open house for those interested:
1. Prior to the Heritage Meadows Open House, Erin Snyder and David Marrett will host a tour of the LandUse Learning Center at 3 PM. The LandUse Learning Center, 4500 Glenwood Dr. Riverside, is 4 miles from the main Northside event site.
2. Following the main Northside event, Roxanne Robbins and David Marrett will host an informal meet-up at 7:30 at Back to the Grind Coffee House at 3575 University Ave, downtown Riverside. Everyone is welcome, including environmental, conservation, and climate activists. The coffee house is less than 3 miles from the main event site. David Marrett is coordinating the tour and the meet-up. If you are interested in attending either the tour before, or the meet-up after. Please RSVP to David at djmarrett@gmail.com.
Everyone is invited to come celebrate the Northside Heritage Meadows. We hope to see you there.
