Jonathan is a labor and anti gentrification organizer, socialist, and a black liberation activist running in the year of George Floyd. He is running to fight for housing, labor rights, and police accountability by building a movement run campaign for city council.

Through his work at an Amazon warehouse and as a co-founder of “Amazonians United NYC,” Jonathan has been a labor organizer fighting for a just economy for New York workers. Jonathan supports holding the police accountable to the people and is a leading advocate for the elected civilian review board. As an anti-gentrification activist who experienced homelessness during the last great recession, Jonathan has a personal stake in the struggles people face as the COVID pandemic leaves a million New Yorkers with threats of eviction. Jonathan believes that housing is a human right and will not only be a strong advocate for renters and small business owners but will never back down against displacement by the real estate industry.
