NYC-DSA's Debt & Finance Working group, in conjunction with the Immigrant Justice Working Group, Ecosocialist Working Group, Religious Socialism Working Group, Bronx/Upper Manhattan Electoral Working Group and South Brooklyn DSA is hosting a teach-in in the lead up to NYC-DSA's Tax the Rich campaign's Week of Action in December.

This teach-in will be Tuesday, December 1st, at 7:00 pm. This NYC-DSA Tax the Rich Campaign Teach-In will give a quick primer on the state of the New York budget and what New York's current tax system looks like. It will also explain how NYC-DSA fits into the current fight to tax the rich, why this battle will be critical to responding to our state's health, housing, and environmental crises, and how you can get involved.

This teach-in will be accessible for those of us with no background in debt or finance. It will challenge us all to think about the structures and goals of our campaigns.

Everyone is welcome - newbies and seasoned DSA members alike! This is the place for questions you haven’t been able to ask elsewhere. The teach-in will make it clear where you can get involved, no matter your background.
