About the Event

As the world turns its attention to New York City for Climate Week, the Green Leadership Trust (GLT) invites environmental leaders from across the country to a special evening reception: Our Power to Build a Vibrant Democratic Future.

This invitation-only gathering will bring together CEOs, Executive Directors, and board leaders of the nation’s most influential environmental organizations. We will celebrate the diversity and strength of our movement, connect across governance leadership, and strategize for the challenges ahead.

Over music, hors d’oeuvres, and conversation, we will reflect on people-centered, justice-rooted approaches to protecting our environment and shaping an inclusive, sustainable future.

Why This Matters

Environmental organizations stand at a crossroads. While our sector faces unprecedented political and cultural attacks, it is also rich with possibility. GLT believes that elevating and supporting People of the Global Majority into board and C-Suite roles is both an act of resistance and a catalyst for transformative change.
