OAG Protest
Start: Tuesday, June 02, 2026•12:00 PM
Location: Newark OAG Office• 33 Washington St, Newark, NJ 07102 US
Join DSA, Climate Revolution Action Network, SoL Jersey City, and partner organizations at the Newark office of the Attorney General -- New Jersey's chief law enforcement officer -- to uplift the voices of the strikers inside Delaney Hall concentration camp! The strikers' demands are:
1. For the governor to meet with them IN PERSON inside Delaney Hall
2. Release medically vulnerable people
3. Release children and the elderly
4. Freedom for all detainees
Our further demands are as follows:
1. ARREST and PROSECUTE GEO Group criminals. GEO CERT Brutally assaulted prisoners on 5/28 for striking using tear gas, pepper spray, and batons. Multiple detainees were hospitalized.
2. ENFORCE the Immigrant Trust Directive and Executive Order 12 to keep ICE off of state property.
3. FOLLOW THROUGH on the Safe Communities Act to protect people in hospitals, schools, and shelters from ICE.
4. FULLY FUND DDDI to provide pro-bono immigration counsel to NJ residents facing deportation.
5. DROP ALL CHARGES and free protestors who exercised their constitutionally protected rights to protest the deplorable treatment of immigrants in New Jersey.
Protestors outside the facility have been BRUTALIZED and arrested en masse for daring to speak out against the deplorable treatment and detainment of innocent immigrants. The OAG and the Governor have called in the state police to help guard the Delaney Hall concentration camp. This collaboration with the fascist Trump administration is unacceptable.
