Drax is currently applying for planning permission to install unproven and potentially dangerous carbon capture storage at it's plant in Selby. Bioenergy Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) has never been proven to work at scale, but this plan is estimated to cost £31.7 billion and will allow Drax to keep burning trees, polluting communities and destroying our planet.

Join us for a brief overview of the problems with BECCS and how you can get involved with stopping Drax and their tree burning. This will be followed by space in this session to fill out the objections together.
