Join the Oil Money Out campaign on August 29th to kick off "Peace Week"  with the "Speak Up For Peace" press conference! We will be teaming up with some incredible organizations for a week of peace in San Pedro! As a direct response to the annual Fleet Week, organizers of this event want to build & celebrate local peace economies to ensure that our communities are putting social needs over militaristic greed. Events kick off with a press conference on August 29th at 5PM at the Liberty Hill Monument and will continue throughout the week with daily themed activities & opportunities for education.

Oil Money Out has been invited to be apart of Peace Week 2017, and we will be there to educate folks about the impacts of oil money in our politics while gathering signatures to demand that our elected officials stop taking money from the oil industry.
