A two-part program on persuasive writing and op-eds. By the end of the two sessions, DSA members will:

• learn the forms and tactics of op-ed articles, by reading examples published recently in local media outlets
• understand the mechanics of effective storytelling to address policy issues through a personal lens
• identify which local outlets are looking for op-eds and learn how to submit your work
