Monday, September 14 is our next “Dessert & Discussion” event. Here we gather (virtually), catch up on local and national events, then have a brief guided discussion on a chosen topic - with cake! Or with coffee, or fruit, or wine, or whatever you decide.

This week's discussion is is called “CB 51- Immigrants, ICE, and the County” and will be led by Tammy Spengler (leader in the Howard County Indivisible Immigration Action Team, the Howard County Committee for Immigrant Justice, and more). We will discuss the county legislation introduced on September 8 by Liz Walsh, ORHoCo's county-council testimony, and the related issues involved.
