We have an excellent opportunity in Ouseburn to get three Green Councillors elected to the council, so please join the Ouseburn campaign team for a weekend of doorknocking and newsletter delivery to make this happen! There will be morning and afternoon sessions on both Saturday and Sunday so we can contact as many residents as possible. If you can only make it for a couple hours on one of the days, that’s no problem at all, just le us know when you can attend!

The plan is:

Saturday:

10:30am: Meet outside The Newbridge Project to knock on doors, canvassing for the May Council Elections

12:30pm: Lunch at Ernest

2pm: Meet outside Ernest to head back out for canvassing

Drinks and catch up afterwards, venue TBC

Sunday:

10:30am: Meet outside Heaton Perk to deliver the remaining newsletters

12:30pm: Lunch at Blue Bell Pub

2pm: Meet outside Blue Bell Pub to head back out for more newsletter deliveries

Training for doorknocking will be provided on the day, and all doorknocking will be done in groups, so you'll have lots of support. If you have time beforehand and have not already, please can you register to the following app, which we use whilst door knocking too: greencanvas.org.uk

For those that want to, after doorknocking we'll meet at or a drink and catch up – location TBC.
