Dominion wants to build the largest gas plant in its entire portfolio, in the heart of Virginia, rural Cumberland County. Nearly double the size of any gas plant Dominion has ever built in the state, sprawling across 900 acres on the James River.

Why? Big Tech. Data centers in Northern Virginia are guzzling electricity, and Dominion's answer is to make Cumberland absorb the cost. Virginians would pay for it: higher bills, industrial pollution, and decades tied to volatile gas prices, all to power an industry that isn't paying its own way.

But we can fight this. The Planning Commission hasn't voted yet. They can recommend this project, or they can reject it, and that decision gets made in a room, by people who can be moved by how many of us show up.
