On March 30th Palestinians around the world observe Land Day or Yom al-Ard to commemorate the 1976 protest in response to the Israeli government’s confiscation of 2,000 hectares of land belonging to Palestinians in the Galilee. The protest was met with violent repression from Israel. Six people were killed and over 100 were injured.

As the violence of the illegal occupation only increases, and Palestinians continue to be forcefully displaced from their land, the people of the world stand with them in opposition to the ongoing genocide by Israel and the U.S. and in defense of their right to remain on their land and their right to return to all their lands from the river to the sea.
