The Internationalism Working Group acts as Maine DSA chapter liaisons to the local Coalition for Palestine and principal organizers of the chapter’s participation in this coalition.

The Working Group also acts as Maine DSA chapter liaisons to DSA’s International Committee to facilitate better cooperation with national campaigns.

The Working Group’s goals are to:

• Establish and maintain ties with community groups and organizers
• Recruit new DSA members who want to participate in internationalist organizing
• Develop the skills of working group members and share organizational knowledge
• Educate Maine DSA members and the public about American imperialism and colonialism
• Support student organizing
• Support anti-ICE organizing, including via participation in Maine Coalition for Peace and Human Rights
