Hear how Action Corps mobilized a coalition that achieved the bipartisan passage of a bill in Congress to end the U.S. and Saudi war on Yemen. The group brought together Yemeni-Americans, peace activists, and NGOs, which together achieved this historic victory for the U.S. peace movement.
Isaac Evans-Frantz is the director of Action Corps, which campaigns for US policies to save lives globally. With Isaac’s leadership, Action Corps played a pivotal role in Congress’ historic passage of the Yemen War Powers Resolution in 2019. Isaac serves on the Vermont Sierra Club executive committee and the advisory board of Freedom Forward where he has advocated for LGBTQ people globally.
Neda Saleh is a Yemeni-born peace activist and graduate from UC Berkeley. She founded Hands Off Yemen, a youth-led organization raising awareness about the war and the blockade of Yemen. Neda has organized rallies nationwide, secured congressional meetings, and led national coalition efforts. As the coordinator of Action Corps, she focuses on policy advocacy to end US involvement in Yemen’s war.
