Peace & Justice Conversations: Keeping Hope Alive In Challenging Times
Start: 2024-10-07 19:00:00 UTC Eastern Daylight Time (US & Canada) (GMT-04:00)
This is a virtual event
How can we sustain ourselves and our movement as we engage in important but heartbreaking activist work?
This Conversation happens to fall on October 7 - yet another day that marks an anniversary of human violence against other humans. If we don't want to completely fill our calendars with such days, we need to continue our work for peace and justice and not become overwhelmed by despair.
But, when we are staying informed about critical but horrifying events and trying to avoid even more catastrophic consequences while experiencing many defeats and losses - how do we keep on keeping on?
Join Sandra & Amy for an unrecorded participatory evening where we come together to share our experiences and ideas and support each other. Expect music, readings, and opportunities to speak and connect.

About NHPA’s bi-weekly Zoom Peace & Justice Conversation Series: 2020’s upheavals brought us to a new moment of reckoning and possibility. How do we want to live in the world? What do we value? How can we make the changes we’ve been yearning for? NH Peace Action has been engaged in working for change for decades. We’d like to bring you into these conversations about issues and options for the future. There is no charge to attend, but your contributions in any amount are greatly appreciated.
