Canada is still arming Israel and we refuse to stay silent! Despite the government claiming to have restricted military exports to Israel over a year ago, a groundbreaking new report – independently verified by CBC and Toronto Star journalists – uncovered evidence of hundreds of shipments of military goods from Canada to Israel over the last year and a half.

Take action with us! On Wednesday, September 17 at 7:00 p.m. we’ll gather to discuss how to effectively contact your MP, whether through a phone call or email, and you'll have the chance to craft your own personalized message to demand that your MP push for a full arms embargo on Israel.

What is a phone zap? It’s when a group of people get together and simultaneously call or email their MPs and elected representatives demanding direct action on a specific issue. The “zap” is us forcing attention on the issue because we’re collectively flooding inboxes at the same time. It’s simple, it’s effective, and it's something we can do together!

We’ll meet virtually to go over the Arms Embargo Now report, review a template and some talking points you can use, and share contact information for MPs and federal representatives. Then, together, we make calls and send emails, demanding that our MPs take action now.
