On April 4, Wisconsin has the rare opportunity to FLIP our Supreme Court away from conservative control for the first time in YEARS. After a year of cruel abortion bans, attacks on LGBTQ+ Wisconsinites, the assault on our democracy, and the rich getting richer than ever, Wisconsin needs a change. We also have the opportunity to elect strong, pro-worker candidates at the local level to fight for the issues that matter, from affordable housing to public safety and lowering costs for working families.

We need to make sure EVERY progressive voter casts a ballot by April 4. Join us on ZOOM to help us PHONE BANK VOTERS! All you’ll need is:

  • A personal device, like a laptop or tablet, to join us on zoom and read the script
  • A cell or home phone to call voters!
We’ll begin with a ~30 minute training and provide a script, folks to contact, and information on our candidates. All we need is YOU! Join us to help elect strong progressives and FLIP our Supreme Court. When we organize, we win!

ABOUT OUR CANDIDATES

  • Missy Zombor is a parent running for the Milwaukee Public Schools Board of Directors. Missy is a champion for strong public schools and the rights of students and educators. She's facing a right-wing pro-privatization candidate head-on and needs OUR HELP to fight for smaller class sizes, more equitable funding, and safety and good food for students. She's endorsed by the Milwaukee Teachers Education Association.
  • Sam Harshner is a professor and parent running for Village Trustee in Shorewood, Wisconsin. Sam is committed to economic equality, affordable housing, and representing the working people who make Shorewood work!
  • MGR Govindarajan is a junior at UW-Madison and is running to represent Madison's student-dominated 8th district on Madison's Common Council! MGR has been uplifting students and workers in Madison for years. Now, he's bringing the fight for affordable housing, mental health care, and public transportation to the ballot box!
  • Alder Juliana Bennett is a tireless fighter for justice and affordable housing in Madison's 2nd District. She just advanced through her primary with a commanding 71% and hopes to continue serving Madison for another term!
  • Maxwell Laubenstein is a restaurant worker and student at UW-Madison challenging an almost THIRTY YEAR incumbent in Madison's 4th aldermanic district. Maxwell will continue to fight for small businesses, affordable housing, and raising wages!
  • Alder Yannette Figueroa Cole is a strong advocate for smart solutions to public safety, providing healthcare and support to Madison's most vulnerable communities. We're proud to support her re-election in District 10!
  • Michelle Ellinger Linley is a proud progressive who supports public parks and conservation, supporting small businesses, and making sure Madison's north side is affordable! We're proud to endorse her for Madison's 18th Aldermanic District.
  • Alder Nikki Conklin is a mom and a champion for working families in Madison. She is a deeply-rooted, progressive community leader with a vision for a healthier, fairer, more equal community. We are proud to support her for re-election in Madison's 9th Aldermanic District!
  • Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson is a national progressive leader because he NEVER misses an opportunity to bring working people together across party lines. Tom has worked hard to build a coalition of rural and urban voters to advance commonsense solutions for working families in Outagamie County, and we are proud to endorse him for another term!

ABOUT THE WISCONSIN SUPREME COURT

Wisconsin has the opportunity on April 4, 2023 to change the balance of the Court away from a conservative majority for the first time in YEARS. This is a rare, crucial opportunity to put ALL progressive priorities on the table, from abortion rights to fair maps, from union rights to legalizing marijuana, and from LGBTQ+ rights to protecting our natural resources. While Our Wisconsin Revolution is not endorsing in this race, Dan Kelly is running diametrically opposed to everything on our platform from a democratic economy to free and fair elections. Dan Kelly is allegedly part of the 2020 fake elector scheme in which Republicans attempted to overturn the 2020 election. IN SHORT: PROGRESSIVES CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE THIS ONE. Alongside supporting our endorsed candidates, we are asking voters to vote their values in the Supreme Court race.
