Rise for Climate: Picnic and Fair for Climate, Jobs and Justice!

Bring a picnic! Gather for climate action in solidarity with the rest of the world calling attention to the Global Climate Action Summit in California and our shared work to end the climate crisis.

This community event is a chance to call for effective climate leadership and to speak directly to candidates. And, equally important, to connect with fellow Vermonters about what you can do in your own lives or in your town toward climate justice and 100% renewable energy. This event is family-friendly and will include hands-on and educational activities for adults and kids! Organizers include 350Vermont, Central Vermont Climate Action, Vermont Natural Resources Council; sponsorship from Seventh Generation, Northshire Bookstore, and Ben and Jerry’s.

Our work is diverse and critical. To change everything, we need everyone!

• Bring your own picnic!  Pack it in. Pack it out.

• Prepare for whatever the weather.
