On April 28, the Pierce County labor movement will again observe Workers Memorial Day to remember workers killed or injured on the job and to renew the fight for strong safety and health protections.  

Hosted by the hard working women and men of the Washington State Federation of Employees (AFSCME Council 28), this event will reflect on those we lost in the past year as we fight for safer working conditions for all workers in our state.  

WFSE is sponsoring a lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers starting at 11 a.m., with speakers at noon.
