Join us for the Pine Belt Humanists Book Club!

Whether you’re an avid reader, a casual book lover, or just looking for a fun way to connect with others in the community, we’d love to have you join us for a relaxed conversation about books and reading. And yes, audiobooks count!

This small-group gathering is a chance to talk about books we’ve been reading, share recommendations, discuss favorite authors and genres, and explore all kinds of bookish topics.

This month, we're trying something new! Rather than choosing one book for everyone to read, the group has chosen a genre, and everyone can read any book they'd like within that genre. Our first genre is Science Fiction!

A few folks are planning to read Dungeon Crawler Carl, so you can join them in reading DCC or pick up any other sci fi that strikes your fancy. Read a classic, discover a new author, or revisit an old favorite. It's up to you!

At our meeting, we'll talk about the books we've read, share recommendations, discuss what we loved (or didn't), and explore the different ways authors imagine the future, technology, humanity, and the unknown.

No assigned reading required.
