Jeannette Jara will face José Antonio Kast in Chile's runoff election for president on December 14. Jara and Partido Comunista de Chile (Communist Party of Chile) are running as leaders of the ruling coalition of President Gabriel Boric, Unidad por Chile (Unity for Chile). This coalition consists of left-wing parties, among them, Frente Amplio (Broad Front).
