THE POOR PEOPLE’S STATE OF THE STATE
The NYS Poor People's Campaign invites you to discuss the report with us at two sessions: Mar. 31st & Apr. 5th. It is not necessary that you read it before the sessions, although we encourage it. The first date, which will concentrate on poverty and racism, will be on Zoom on Friday, March 31st from 4 – 5:30 pm.
The NYS Poor People’s Campaign is engaged in a Poor People’s State of the State (PPSOS) Campaign in response to Gov. Hochul’s [rich people’s] State of the State Address. We are asking you to sign and share widely a petition to the Governor demanding that she publicly tell the truth about poverty in NY!
We have also prepared a PPSOS report, which you can read here!
