Emergency Prepping 101 for Black Folk is a two part political education and practical skills virtual workshop designed to help our Black community reclaim agency, build collective resilience, and prepare our households for emergencies without fear or overwhelm. Rooted in an abolitionist commitment to Black survival and self-determination, this course provides foundational tools, mindset shifts, and community-centered strategies for beginning the journey of emergency preparedness in a time of political, economic, and environmental crisis.
We prepare not because we expect the system to protect us, but because we know it won’t — and we refuse to leave our lives, our families, or our futures to chance.
Register for part one of this workshop happening on Sunday, July 13th @ 1:00 PM.
***Update: While this space centers Black folks, it is now also open to everyone.***
