Preventing Youth Violence Cardiff: Employment and Income Workshop

The listening campaign revealed the financial pressures on children and young people in Grangetown and Butetown. Young people were drawn to making fast money which is exacerbated in households struggling on a low income and may be made worse by the cost of living crisis. Young people also shared experiences of racism when applying for work and there was an overall feeling that local talent was overlooked.
