Privacy Reform Roundtable

Start: Monday, September 4, 2023 at 3:00 AM GMT

End: Monday, September 4, 2023 at 4:00 AM GMT

This is a virtual event

Digital Rights Watch is hosting a privacy reform roundtable to bring together organisations who have signed onto the Parents for Privacy Reform Open Letter, and others who might be interested in doing so.

We know that we can make a stronger case for privacy law reform as a coalition rather than as individual organisations. This meeting is an opportunity for us to come together, share knowledge, understand the priorities and perspectives of others in the group, and chart the next steps of the campaign.

At the event we will:

  • Hear from Digital Rights Watch Chair, Lizzie O'Shea, about the privacy reform process, key issues for reform, and an update on the campaign so far
  • Hear from a second guest speaker, to be announced
  • Have a group discussion on privacy reform issues and campaign tactics
  • Share next steps in the campaign, and actions your organisation can take to support

We would also like to extend this invitation to other organisations who have not yet signed on in support of the campaign, but who may be interested in learning more about privacy reform and why it is relevant to them, and potentially join the campaign. Feel free to forward this invitation to your contacts, or suggest organisations or groups for us to contact directly.
