Hello District 39 Friends -

New York City is in crisis and we are seeing a lack of leadership from our elected officials right now. We need them to step up, step out, and stand with communities who are bearing the brunt of COVID-19 and police brutality. We need leaders who can bring change to our communities and I believe my friend Brandon West can!

Brandon is a community organizer and has been fighting for low income and black and brown folks his whole life. I’d love for you to know more about him and why he’s running for City Council in 2021. Next week, I am hosting a virtual houseparty so that you can meet Brandon, learn more about his vision for City Council and ask him questions about the issues that matter most to you. I’m sure that when you hear more from Brandon, you’ll want to support him in his run for council
