Flagstaff’s Carbon Neutrality Plan (CNP) is under attack and needs your help. A climate denier group calling itself “Flagstaff First” has proposed amendments to the CNP that would change its priorities to things other than emissions reduction. They propose to change the CNP’s priorities to fighting fire and floods, but those things are covered in other parts of the City and Forest Service budgets. The CNP should not be undermined in this way, because it would block the city from implementing its goal of net zero emissions by 2030.
