Davidson and Davie Counties are at a pivotal moment, facing the rapid expansion of methane gas infrastructure, and talks of data center development that could reshape the region for decades to come. Duke Energy is proposing to build massive methane gas-fired power plants in the heart of rural agricultural land along the Yadkin River, raising serious concerns for public health, increased water and air pollution, and higher electricity bills.

We invite you to join residents and advocates for an upcoming community meeting to learn more about this proposed project. Together, we'll explore what this project could mean for Davidson and Davie Counties, how it connects to the data center fight, and discuss ways to advocate for a future that prioritizes residential safety, healthy environments, and affordable energy.

Your voice and participation are essential as the fight to protect the region from harmful development moves forward. All residents are encouraged to attend this community conversation!
