Protect Water and Nature YES Campaign Launch
Start: Wednesday, July 22, 2026•11:00 AM
Location: Fiedler Dock• Charles River Esplanade, Boston, MA 02114 US
Are you ready to protect water and nature in Massachusetts? Join environmental, conservation, outdoor recreation, and parks advocates from across the state in Boston on Wednesday, July 22 for a celebratory rally as we launch our YES campaign to pass the Protect Water and Nature ballot initiative on the November 2026 ballot!
The Protect Water and Nature ballot initiative would dedicate funds from the existing state sales tax on sporting goods to protecting and conserving water and nature. That means as much as $100 million every year for clean drinking water, healthy forests and natural wildlife habitats, and more outdoor recreational spaces like trails and parks that everyone can enjoy — without raising taxes. Learn more at natureforma.org.
In early July, we’ll receive our official ballot number, and we’ll have less than four months to make sure that every voter in the state understands that voting YES means dedicated funding for clean drinking water and access to nature. Can you join us on July 22 to help launch our YES campaign, and protect water and nature in Massachusetts? RSVP here.
What to bring/wear: We want to showcase all the ways people across Massachusetts access nature, so bring your hiking or fishing gear, show up on your mountain bike or kayak, or dress in your best hunting camo or running clothes!
