So you know how when you were a kid and you punched your brother in the face 'cause he got into your Halloween stash and ate all your 3 Musketeers? Remember that? Wait. What? You don't? Well consider yourself luckier than us.

Anyway, remember how after that your brother ran crying to your parents and they grounded you until you were 18 because you gave your brother a bloody nose?

And then you complained that he started it by stealing your candy bars?

And then your parents said what all good parents say:

Two wrongs don't make a right.

That little nugget is as true now as it was then. It's true in families. It's true in civilized society. It's true in almost everything. So now you're probably wondering why we're talking about two wrongs not making a right and punching our brother in the face?

We're telling you this because politics is neither familial nor civil. Politics is more Lord of the Flies than Little House on the Prairie. And two wrongs not making a right doesn't necessarily apply.

That's why we're rallying in support of Voting Rights with an emphasis on Prop 50. Prop 50 is kind of wrong because if it wins, California will redraw its congressional map to favor Democrats in the upcoming 2026 mid-term election. That's called gerrymandering and gerrymandering sucks.

Why would California do this? Because Donald J. Trump and his cronies are (illegally) having Texas redraw its congressional maps to favor Republicans in the upcoming 2026 mid-term election.

So. Two wrongs, in this case, might make a right. Come join us to rally for voting rights. While hopefully we can look forward to a day when gerrymandering is only talked about in history books, we got a bit of work to do before we get there. Now is as good a time as any to get started.
