The Global Sumud Flotilla was illegally intercepted last week while engaged in a legal mission to deliver humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza and break Israel's illegal, genocidal blockade in Gaza. This comes as this week marks two years since the start of Israel's genocide against the Palestinian people. Across the world, demonstrations are being led at ports demanding the release of the flotilla participants, an international arms embargo against Israel, and a permanent end to the occupation and genocide of Palestinians. Join the Miami and Broward chapters of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and allied organizations as we rally in solidarity with the Global Sumud Flotilla on Friday, October 10th at 6:30pm at the Torch of Friendship!

There are paid, street parking lots along Biscayne Boulevard close to the Torch of Friendship, as well as the (more expensive) Bayfront Parking Garage directly next to the Torch.
