Turn out in support of stronger rent control and a public bank! LA City Council will be holding a public comment period before voting on its budget on May 22nd, and it's important that council members know that residents of LA want them to support a public bank study as a step towards establishing a public bank for the city. The Rent Stabilization Ordinance vote is also coming up and it's important that council members know we want them to vote in favor of capping rents at 60% of CPI with a ceiling of 3%.
