On June 16, the MoCo Council will be having a public hearing on two bills that would impose a moratorium on data center development to allow them first to enact strong environmental and climate forward zoning and regulations.

We need to pack the room to show the council that MoCo residents are demanding the pause until it is clear that we will be protected. Prince Georges, Frederick and Howard Counties have all had data center moratoriums. We expect our council to show us the same respect.
