As organization representatives and as individuals, we are attending more and more community events where we would like to speak up!

On Monday, members of DSA Jax, Jax Food Not Bombs, and other local orgs will meet in a small setting to learn about best practices when speaking at meetings--such as city council, school board, and townhall-style meetings--and how to craft an effective comment when time is limited and pressure is high.

We will also do hands-on work to prepare comments for upcoming meetings.

Everyone welcome! All ages. Guests encouraged. Non-DSA/FNB members welcome.

Input from experienced public speakers is encouraged.
