The R6 is the newest RapidBus and now the sixth busiest bus route in the region. It has transformed bus ridership on Scott Road, providing a reliable and convenient option for transit riders in the city.

This route also showcases public artworks designed by three artists with connections to Surrey and Delta’s South Asian communities. During the tour, guests will hear from artists Jessie Sohpaul and Keerat Kaur as they discuss their artwork installed at bus shelters and the median centre island at Scott Road and 72nd. The tour will highlight the artists’ connections to public transportation and the community.

Participants will also visit the PLOT Community Sharing Garden to meet local activists and enjoy food and refreshments.
