Philadelphia is at a crossroads. Two potential data center sites have already been identified in Southwest Philadelphia and the Northeast, but the city currently has no rules governing where data centers can be built or how communities should be protected.

Data centers can put enormous pressure on our electricity, water, land, and infrastructure—and we are demanding a say in what gets built in our neighborhoods.

On Monday, September 14 at 12 p.m., we're kicking off the No Data Centers in Philly campaign with a rally and press conference calling on City Council to pass a citywide data center moratorium.

A moratorium would pause data center construction and give City Council and Philadelphians time to develop strong rules that protect our health, affordability, environment, and quality of life.
